The MD431 and the MD838 Insertion Machines use a pneumatic design providing complete control over insertion pressure, speed, and dwell time with cycle rates of up to 90 per minute, depending on the feedability of your part.

MD431

For parts requiring no end-to-end orientation, the Model MD431 uses a 6-8" diameter cascade-type cast aluminum or optional stainless steel vibratory feed bowl. Parts are escaped one at a time from the feed source and shot down through a tube into the insertion pocket, where they await insertion.

MD838

For difficult-to-orient parts, the MD838 uses a high-quality stainless steel vibratory feed bowl with outside tooling. Parts are correctly oriented and escaped one at a time and shot down a tube into the insertion pocket. They are inserted into the work to controlled pressure and depth.
