For high volume assembly solutions, Cambridge Automatic insertion heads can be mounted on fully automatic positioning systems from Universal Instruments.   These positioning systems or bases utilize conveyorized board handling systems.   Standard as well as custom insertion heads from Cambridge Automatic can be mounted on a choice of either single or dual table, Universal machine bases.  Dual table machines offer throughput increases of 50% over single table machines.

Eyelet, socket, pin, and strip fed terminal heads can be used in various combinations over either single or dual table positioning systems.  Typical configurations include: eyelet-eyelet, socket-socket, pin-pin, eyelet-pin, and terminal-terminal.  Eyelet-socket, socket-pin, terminal-pin, terminal-eyelet, and eyelet-pin-eyelet are available upon request.  Eyelet-pin-eyelet is only available over the single table positioning system.
